Exploring Elrios

Aloha everyone!

It has been toooooo long. Don't you agree? I miss posting on this blog. For almost half a year, I have been playing a game called Elsword.

I was somewhat skeptical about moving forward with this game. It is a 2D game and the characters are gender-locked. I had my doubts, but I stuck through with it. I grew interested in each character and their stories. Where I had my doubts, eventually I changed my perspective and it is what makes this game unique.

My main focus was on the community aspect of this game. It was not the best community there is and I felt that there could be some improvements. Fiesta had a community that stayed with me long after I quit. I sincerely miss those days when I played on my elf on Fiesta. What I hope to achieve in this game is to make a small impact or dent. I would like for everyone I meet to have a wonderful experience (even if just for a minute) just like I had in my previous game. And so, my journey began 6 months ago...

After whizzing past wizards and conquering dragons in Isya, I grew bored. I walked a path with no direction. The bright lights of the futuristic land of Elrios captured the lights of my eyes. It was a vast land where robots roamed and new demons emerged. The feeling was strong in me and I knew where I had to go. For me, it was like moving from one elementary school to another. The environment was different, but the things I learned in my previous school were useful. With my previous knowledge of archery in Fiesta, I took the path with the bow and arrow. My aim in this game was still slightly blurry, but I had a feeling of what I wanted to do. I believed that if I kept exploring Elrios I would eventually find something like the Bijou server of Fiesta, something special.

New Game: Aura Kingdom/Fantasy Frontier

Good morning!

Long time no see... I graduated from my university a few months ago. I have more free time now. Yay! I have not been playing Fiesta Online for awhile. Recently, I have been playing a game called Aura Kingdom (Fantasy Frontier) by Aeria Games. I am enjoying myself there. Maybe you guys might be interested in this game as much as I do. I created a small video of me soloing a dungeon called Miner's Steppe. My character is a grenadier/wizard named Mangobomb. I am level 49, I am currently in the guild called Beehive, and I am on the server Siren. Maybe I might see you guys there? Please enjoy the video!

The Return of the Crusader, Olivebomb!

Aloha everyone!

I have returned and I am slowly playing more and more these days. I am playing the new crusader class that was recently introduced to the game. Once you get a character to level 60, you can unlock this class. You start at level 60 with scrolls and a couple of other things. The crusader uses a one handed sword, but has no shield. Their skills are similar to other classes such as teleporting, healing, and magic based skills. How do I like it so far? It is awesome!

In PVE, I do not need SP stones. Crusaders use LP for skills instead which heal somewhat fast. However, if you are spamming skills, you may run out quickly. Crusaders can stay on the field for quite awhile and does not need to enter their mushroom. They have a slow healing skill called Lifeline. They save a lot on HP and SP stones. They also have a magic ranged skill called Light Blast. You can only cast it 9.0m away, but it is useful and many monsters are weak against magic attacks. Their defense is quite low, but the crusader makes it up with Light Blast and Lifeline. In parties, crusaders can play several roles. They can use Lifeline which can be combined with the cleric's slow healing skills. They have both magic based and physical based skills so they can pretty much do quite a lot of damage to many mobs. I think their main role in parties is to control mobs and be support in parties. They have an AOE skill called Advent which can stun mobs for about two seconds.

In PVP, I suppose crusaders can do some major damage on fighters with their magic skills and damage increasing buffs. I doubt that they will do much to stop clerics and all they can do is avoid clerics. Against trixters, crusaders have the advantage of distance. They also have a skill called light blink that they can use to teleport. Crusaders have low defense and an even more low magic defense and can be trouble against archers and mages. Crusaders do have healing skills and a buff to increase damage and they can also eliminate the distance advantage between the archers and mages. In these cases, it probably will be determined by who attacks who first. Crusaders have high magic and physical damage and a buff that can be deadly for a short amount of time. They also can evade other classes with Light Blink along with their healing abilities to escape when it is necessary.

My goal is to reach level 90 on Olivebomb to use the skills at that level. To all that are in Bijou, I may just see you around Isya! Have a wonderful day, everyone!
