Good morning. :]

So, I couldn't make this post on Sunday as I went to the beach, and got super tired. Anyone else ever had that feeling? I had a long sleep, and right now it's late in the morning, but I got it finished so enjoy! If you read my Saturday Update, it has something to do with PvP KQ.

Based on true in-game events and on a cool story bro!

It was late at night, and I was on my lime-colored hair full end cleric Pearbomb...

Sup?

I was training with my very ugly brother mage in 5x abyss, and with a pretty fighter that was an acadie. As we entered the Passage of the Abyss, a small archer in sight with 3000 HP, and a +9 crossbow of destruction colored like a rainbow (Nice weapon right?) started to head towards where we were headed to...

Creepy stalker...

We traveled alongside him trying to ignore this curious archer, and in a split second...the small archer began to PK (player kill) us. Out of all classes to PK...they pick an archer? Lol.

Anyways, the battle began...it was a party of three vs one little underpowered archer. My brother has the ability to make people very irritated, and make even the most silent people in the game say a word... He's just that irritating!!

Example:

The small archer was irritated by my brother (Who wouldn't?), and threatened to cookie if the two of us (me and the pretty fighter) wouldn't stop hitting him. First of all, cookie to kill us? Second of all, why did you pick an archer to PK? Lol. The small archer started the fight so as a courtesy to him, we wanted to end the fight...

In my party, there was a full end pretty cleric, an ugly frail mage, and a pretty fighter with lots of health. The tides of battle were on my side, and we were not going to let an archer push us around. As the battle prolonged, a fighter with a +10 axe appeared right at the gate far away. He approached the battle...not knowing what he would do next, and whose side he was on. With a quick movement, he devastated at the scene of the battle, and quickly I knew he was the enemy. My reaction was quick enough to save my ugly frail brother of a mage, and he survived surprisingly. The battle raged on...three vs two.

My party didn't take the archer fight seriously, but as soon as the fighter with a +10 axe at level 61 came in...the battle was on! The archer naturally went after the frail and ugly mage in hopes of killing...someone. The fighter went head on with the pretty fighter in my party. The two enemies soon realized that in order to beat my party, they needed to kill the most prettiest cleric in 5x abyss at the moment. First, the archer tried to take me down, but with no avail. His damage was like a toothpick compared to a tree log. He was the Pikachu compared to a Raikou. My point is: his damage was so fail (more damage please OnsOnSoft <3)... So, the fighter with the pink +10 axe of destruction (I'm scared D:) directed his attacks at me.

I flinched a bit, wondering if I could take hits from a high leveled +10 axe fighter. He used one of the most feared skills in Isya...devastate. I stood there motionless unable to do anything. I used my stone, and my HP was lowering to zero. I spammed my tier three HP potions like crazy, and I survived! He was no match for my prettiness, my defence, and my spamming tier three potion action skillzzz. While the fighter tried to kill me...the archer was occupied in killing my ugly mage of a brother. The pretty fighter in my party was running around...not knowing what to do. All this chaos was created by a small archer.

The fight went on for five minutes, and a statue sitting atop the stairs of Passage of the Abyss began to move. Awaken from his deep sleep, he furiously ran straight to all this chaos that was created in a few minutes. He swinged his axe right on to my brother killing him, and then went straight on to the pretty fighter. I was a spam healing machine with spam clicking tier three potion skillzzz. The +10 pink axe guy stunned me, and I was too late to save the pretty fighter. RIP pretty fighter and still ugly mage. </3

My enemies all looked at the prettiest cleric in 5x abyss, and rushed towards me like a PKer would go...well after a nub. I was the nub, and I ran around healing, and using my endless supply of tier three potions (12s at AR F2 for those interested in Bijou server 9AM-12PM Hawaii time), and once I got stunned...it was over! My whole party left with their teeth gathered up for the tooth fairy (pinkies) in Isya, and we all just sat in Forest Perimeter like nothing happened. One of the fighters came out and said, " Stop QQING." As if we were QQing...lol. *rolls eye*

I laughed at this whole thing, and we all waited outside...doing nothing.

As time passed, the battle royale tournament (Warrior's Code Amateur Fighter) was about to begin that was held every four hours. I felt brave after my last fight in Passage of the Abyss, and I signed onto one of these free for all tournaments feeling brave. I waited in Forest Perimeter while the +10 pink axe guy was being harassed by my ugly brother for the incident earlier inside abyss.

The announcement was sent that the tournament was about to begin in 3...2...1!

All the participants who signed into the tournament were warped into a circular room, and there stood 14 people, and one person still trying to login because of slow Internet. In this huge crowd of people, I saw one of my comrades within the battlefield, and I felt safe. The battle began in a few seconds, and all the fighter beasts ran after all the running little piggies running with their low life in all corners of the battlefield. It was a sight that made me giggled a bit. I stood at the spot where I was warped and remained, and I felt confident with my two +9s, my +9 weapon, and my full end build. Nothing seemed to scare me in the battlefield.

Chests began to appear all over the battlefield.

Who got the treasure from the cookie jar? was the question on every one's mind. All of sudden, everyone got stunned...and it was my comrade, who I met in the same academy, got the hammer. I ran to him to congratulate him, and as he ran close to me...he killed me with no hesitation. I lay dead wondering why I died, and I realized he killed me. I checked to see if that was really a comrade...and it was. I got mad and confused, but I said nothing at all. My comrade after a few seconds realized his mistake...

Chests began to appear all over the battlefield.

I ran as fast as I could to a chest. The chest opened, and a big red hammer shined right in front of me. I grabbed the hammer, and my damage increased 10 fold. I had the powa! D:< My comrade passed by, and I wondered if I should hammer him by accident. But I remembered that I was loyal to my guild no matter what. I felt helpless, and I didn't entertain my emotion of bitter revenge...

After killing a few people, I suddenly realized that some hot-headed fighter was shouting my name accusing me of stealing "his" hammer. He warned, "you are so dead now". A couple of people agreed to spam kill me in all this messed-up chat. I went after that mad fighter, and killed him three times in a row...which only angered him more. It was just me a level 43 cleric vs three-five sparkcash fighters in the tournament all of a sudden!

The teams were revealed to me, and I was worried, but I didn't give up, and I hammered everyone in sight. Individually, each fighter tried to kill me, but failed to do so because I shroomed, and used my stone at the right moment. They soon realized that they didn't have enough damage to kill my cleric. They quickly coordinated an attack on me at the same time. I died a quick death, and I lay on the ground patiently thinking, and waiting for the right moment to strike. It was definitely not going to get easy from here.

Chests began to appear all over the battlefield.

My comrade got the hammer again! I ran right next to him for safety. However, just my luck...he was in the hot-headed fighter's team, and I was all alone again. What was I to do? I luckily dodged a few people until the chests began reappearing again. I met face-to-face with the hot-headed fighter again at a chest, and this time I purposely tried to take "his" hammer. The fighter saw me, and tried to kill me. He swinged his ugly axe at me...and I was in a lot of pain. I invinced myself, and went after the chest. Time was going by slowly as he continuously tried to rip through my shield. My invince broke instantly, and my HP drained a lot. As my HP reached 100...

The hot-headed fighter was stunned, and I killed him once again. I ran around killing all his friends laughing the whole way. ;D

I thought of killing my comrade again, but my loyalty to my guild was too strong. I ran around gaining a lot of points. My fame of 15 minutes ended in about two minutes as my hammer ran out... All the angry fighters began rushing at me like angry bulls...all furious and mad. I tried to run away, and in a mere second I died. I stood at 14k points, and waited on the ground for the tournament to end. There was one minute left, and I tried to secure my spot at third place by not dying.


The timer ticked slowly, and the countdown began...5...4...3...and boom I went to fourth place...2...1...

THE BATTLE ROYALE WAS OVER.

There I stood thinking about my thinking...wondering how to react. The hot-headed fighter got fifth, but laughed at my 15 kill points whereas he got 17 kill points...lol. I am a full end cleric...lolz. He was definitely mad. I wanted to reply, "99% of my kills was from u. :] U mad?", but I was loling the whole time to myself, and I was silent the whole tournament.

I did the whole tournament with no team and no sparkcash...just by myself, and got fourth place. Although, it didn't feel like an accomplishment. I had mixed emotions. I was mad that I didn't get third, and that my comrade killed me, and didn't help me in my desperate need of help. I had thoughts of whether to kill him or not, but I was too weak. I thought about the Passage of the Abyss incident, and laughed at the silliness that I was in. I was irritated because I felt that my loyalty was not being respected, and it was worth nothing in the tournament. As FatalLace had said in her blog when she is in DT parties (Ask Fatal: Dragon's Tomb Edition (Damage Dealing - Mage) by FatalLace)... I learned similarly that when you are in PvP situations...expect the worst possible outcome...for even your friends may betray you just to become number one. Or that even a small archer is full of surprises. Just be prepared for these type of things to happen, and don't get too upset as this is to be expected.

It's Saturday again! My favorite day of the week, and this is another Saturday Update. This past week was not as action-packed as my previous week, but I still had a lot of fun, and I was working on a lot of blog entries. Sorry for all the long blog entries...haha. I just got very interested, and I couldn't stop my mind from thinking. As far as leveling goes, I leveled my fighter Guavabomb to 50 thanks to SarrowsStar, and Pearbomb to 47 thanks to my brother. Also, congrats to PrincessAi on 100! Hmm...I also got my fail SL hat and boots for my ranger...for a very cheap price. At this very moment, I'm trying to get my full end cleric to 47. I'll edit this post later to show my first buff ever. There has been a few small low level PvP fights in abyss, but nothing too serious. Here's some pictures I've taken in the past week. Enjoy!

My first made tier five elrues. I saved a lot of
shining dusts while leveling my archer Cherrybomb, and
I got about 50 or so tier five elrues. I still need tier five lix and xir
recipes. I will be getting those on Peachbomb in DT soon.

At Tower of Izyel. This was very fun. We killed the boss,
and I was able to finish my quests in here. I went to an event right after.

I believe this was the Father's day event with GM_Wishbone. He
was telling a story to Bijouians, and surprisingly we all were quiet. Everyone
cooperated, and he had a nice story judging from what
the crowd's reaction was after he was done. Sadly, I was
too late to read the whole story as I was still in Tower of Izyel beforehand(picture above).

was not able to heal me throughout the whole
KQ, and I died. A mage had to tank
the rest of the KQ, and I QQ the whole time.

Well, that was a lot of photos lol. Didn't expect to have this many pictures, and I had to delete a few. I hope you enjoyed the little things that I do in-game. I'm such a picturing hoar as I take a picture of every moment lolz. Well, goals that I have for next week is to start leveling my cleric Peachbomb. Next month will be focused on trying to prestige Peachbomb, and then to work on Guavabomb to prestige after Peachbomb reaches prestige. I also need my SL top and SL pants for my ranger. It's a good thing that SL ranger gears are super cheap. I also need a SL crossbow. QQ I saw one for two gems 50 gold, but I don't have the finances at the moment. As you can see from my first nub moment, I just made one gem lol. Also, I had some fun in PvP KQ on Pearbomb. I've been making a story on it, and I will most likely post it tomorrow or the day after.

That pretty much summarizes my whole week. I guess I will be watching some anime on Adult Swim...lol. Until next Saturday! Bye bye. ^^

So, my first nub moment I will present to you all has something to do with money. Everyone is most likely aware that the prices of items such as tier three scrolls and +9 weapons have raised drastically since a few years back. It has become much more easier to make money with the addition of the academies. Lately, I have been making a lot of money and the nub moment I wanted to share with you all is that I finally...FINALLY...finally after three to four years made...

Lol. Sigh. I didn't know if I wanted to share this, but yes this is the first time I ever had one gem at one time. D: You may be thinking,"Wtf? Three to four years and only one gem? You nub..." Weeeeeeeeell, my excuse is that I do buy gears, and I save more than I invest. I know it sux to be me, but it's a nub moment I wanted to remember and cherish...yeah...some of you may have like 50 gems and all the blue gears in your respected servers...

So what? D:< I don't care...q.q I don't care if you got a Teva bow, a Halloween crossbow, a Sakura shirt, or whatever there is nowadays...a mansion?!...IDC!...q.q

So, today I was thinking of anime for some reason. I was looking through an old thread on the forums about anime in the off-topic section (LF Good Anime D8 by leobaloy), and I remembered trying to create anime faces a long time ago in Vietree's Beauty Shop. Today, I decided to make a blog entry on trying to make my character's faces look like an anime character's face (I tried my best with the limited selection within the shop). A South Korean celebrity named Sandara Park who is in a Kpop group called 2NE1. She started her career in the Philippines, and moved on to South Korea to further her career.

I didn't expect anyone to know this...lol. Who knew there was somebody with this hairstyle in real life, and that it was inspired by a celebrity? I just found it interesting when I found this out. First, they had Kpop group inspired dances from Super Junior and Wonder Girls...

This is the place for me to discuss information provided from the forums or my thoughts on topics being discussed. These are just my opinions...so don't take these as facts. I do not like stating my opinions on the forums (it's a bit trollish) that may lead into arguments. Sometimes, one post makes me think a lot...and I put a lot of work into it, and then I start to think whether I should post it or not...so I will post them here instead.

Last night, I was reading the archer rebalance thread by Dragonfly77 (Balancing Archers - Don't forget about us!! by Dragonfly77 ...link is also at the bottom of the page as I support archer rebalance)...and this comment on page 204...post # 2037 made me think a lot...

But the problem is, that can only really be done by increasing the archer's damage directly or the damage of their DoTs which would make archers overpowered in non-sc pvp and pve.

I am not saying that resistances should not be lowered (the definitely should), simply saying that archers need a serious damage boost or DoT boost to contend in a SC loaded PvP setting. Doing that, however, makes them overpowered in a non-sc pvp setting as well as grinding. You really can't balance both.

This brings up the question: Would increasing the damage of archers to be better at PvP...imbalance them in both PvE and PvP in a non-SC (sparkcash) setting? Let me try to tackle this question...

Reading the post above, I was starting to think of...well...mages. The quoted post states that archers are OPed in PvE (my assumption here is the ability to solo AoE), and if they are to get more damage to be better in PvP...that would make them OPed in PvE and PvP. Then, this would mean that mages are OPed at the moment...by what this post states as OPed. Maybe mages are OPed...but I'm just replying to what this post states as OPed...to make some points.

Mages can, if they are willing to, solo AoE without the use of SC, and can PvP very well against other classes without SC. Also, starting at level 91, archers do not have it easy without SC...they are in the same situation as other classes when it comes to leveling with no SC. So, they really are not OPed in PvE at 91 without SC...and they suck at PvP still even with the addition of SC...starting from level 1-1xx. Here are examples of how mages can be OPed in PvE (using the assumption of being OPed in PvE) without needing other classes/SC...

I know in the first video, Fatal is using a stinger mount, but I believe it can be done with a hobby. Let me try it in-game... Also, in the second video she has +9 gears and a +10 BK staff, but it is still a good demonstration of a mage solo AoEing, and it proves that it is possible.

So, I've tried to do something similar to the first video in-game, and yes it is definitely possible. I've tried it with an NPC level 50 wand with no SC, I used a tier one speed scroll instead of a tier three speed scroll (I didn't have the materials to make tier three), and I used a hobby...lol...

Pre-60, mages can solo AoE in 40 abyss and 20 abyss...all I need is a lot of tier one potions (I will make a blog post about this later on in the future). These examples prove that mages can be OPed in PvE, and are better than archers in PvP without SC...and they can get in parties as well without SC or the intent of powerleveling others. They also don't need aim scrolls as their AoEs never miss, and with an NPC level 50 wand...I can outdamage an archer with a +10 GOC crossbow...I'm joking, but an archer's damage on mobs is laughable compared to a mage.

Also, increasing an archer's damage would not OP them in PvE. There is a spawn rate, and it would probably increase their experience rate by a few. What makes it so OP for an archer to solo AoE? Mages and archers pre-prestige have about the same defence, and can take a group of mobs before it is overkill...all classes have a limit in PvE...even archers...archers can take more mobs than a mage, but there is a limit...

This was my attempt to solo AoE on my mage in FoS. I failed badly as the damage is too high. Although, I know archers too would probably have trouble kiting in this area because of the high damage and stuns, and also how close an archer's defence is to a mage. There is a limit on how many mobs an archer can kite...

Mages can probably rival an archer's experience rate. I do recall reading somewhere that mages can solo AoE in OLT if they want to...I'm not so sure on this...just thought it was interesting...and maybe OPed... I think archers are good in PvE, but not OPed as other classes do have the ability to solo AoE (archers are just better in solo AoEing...not OPed), and that mages are also good in PvP, but not OPed (maybe they are...not sure). My point is that archers wouldn't be OPed in a PvE and PvP non-SC setting with a damage boost, and that they shouldn't suck as well in a PvP non-SC/SC setting... Archers should probably be close to or equal to a mage in PvP abilities...as they are very similar.

I don't think increasing the damage (raw or DOT) of an archer would make them overpowered in a non-sparkcash PvP setting... since that would be just like a mage. I believe the damage boost should be just enough to kill mages...which I believe we were designed to kill, and to actually do some damage to clerics and fighters. At the moment, our damage does almost close to nothing to them... I'm not saying we should be able to kill fighters or clerics, but to be able to do decent damage...we are after all a DD (damage dealer) class, and that's what we specialize in. These disadvantages make archers...well useless in every aspect of a party/PvP/Fiesta Online.

These are my thoughts about this particular post on the archer rebalance thread. Also, after seeing so many archer PvP videos lately on the forums...I may make my own. However, I predict I will fail very...very...veeeeryyy badly. ^^ Also, thanks to FatalLace on her videos, and also her helpful post on mage solo AoEing. I found them very useful in this post. I hope for the days that archers do get rebalanced.
