PROCASTINATION!!

Has anyone ever wanted to take a nice break from it all?

In my case, maybe asking for a vacation after each week is too much, but lately I have really been feeling "weak". So far, I feel as if I have done everything that I need to do in college at the moment and I am taking care of myself well. Yet, I always battle with myself on whether I should be doing something else or browzing the internet. It has become quite irritating in the past few days. I still am able to turn in all my assignments and I have a good feeling about my grades. Though, there seems to be no motivation at the moment. I guess something is troubling me right now. Everything feels all right in a sence. Though, my thoughts and feelings do not help with my situation. I want my mind to connect with my body on things that I do. To be honest, I am procastinating as I write this entry.

I may even want to just watch some YouTube videos now. Just an observation, but lately YouTube has been on my eyes for many days now. Well, I shall make this entry short. This is just my feelings at the moment that I want to share to you all. It has been on my mind for quite some time now and typing about this helps a bit to understand what I truly am feeling. It helps me think a lot about my situation. Well, everyone...I will blog later on. Hopefully, this weekend brings me some insight and some recovery after the past disastrous days.

Aloha everyone and have a peaceful time! :]

College :D

It has been a while since I last posted. I have been buzy with college for one month or so. So far, I have been a cranky robot maniac. My first day was super duper long and I was lost in the many buildings and the hot weather didn't help brighten the experience. I sat for two hours or so waiting for my first class. There was a fat bald security gaurd right next to me and a very calming fountain gushing water. I was using a cell phone for the first time and it was complicated at first (heck, I didn't even know how to text message). College was new to me like any other person, but as the days passed I soon felt comfortable in my little college.

My very first class in college was my English class. English has always been my favorite subject and I love to read. The best I can decribe my teacher is a kind old lady and her hair was blond and very straight. Surrounding me were my classmates and most were freshmen like me and others were sophomores. All of the people in my class either came from where I came from which is Hawaii or California. One was from Europe. I introduced myself to this girl from California who had long black wavy hair. She looked alright at first glance, but I sensed something weird about her. As weeks passed, she was an alright person, but she worked a lot and had trouble keeping up in class.

Everything in college was what I expected it to be. I really enjoy the freedom and I also love using the bus to arrive to my college. I guess I am kind of spoiled and I was confused on how the bus system really works. It takes me 1:30 minutes to get to college. Though, I learned a quicker way to get to college and now I know how to read the bus schedule. I love to tell about my bus experiences, but I will tell you about it in another post. The one thing that sticks out to me in college was this grumpy blonde "douche" bag who works at the advising center.

So, I am a kind and respectful person and I respect all my elders, but this one person was such an irritating little person. He had wrinkles over his face, but he was relatively young. He was red all over and his eyes could stare you to death. I approached him like any other student would to sign up for a counselor. I guess I asked to many questions and that's what bothered him. I am a student, gosh. I thought that maybe I was irritating and maybe I had a bad first impression. I really do not know. I just wanted to get it over with. I wanted to apologize to him, but I wouldn't give him the time of day. I was even late for a class waiting for a counselor the whole time and I think he planned this. To this day, I think he will remember me the whole four years that I am here. Just my luck...

Well, as far as irritating faculty goes...there are also irritating students. One of those students is in my biology class. He is one of those "know it all" people. After much analysis, he loves to show off. He and his two look-a-like minions. I do not like his attitude. He is a funny type of person and he is a 2nd year biology student. Well, this is what makes my class interesting...I hope to beat him haha. The next person is in my English class. She looks like a business type of person and she is also a show off as well. Though, she is more nice and I respect her more. Anyways, this doesn't concern me too much as my main goal is to get my degree.

I can't wait till I'm done with these prequisites. I want to start taking classes that are more focused on my degree for finance. I really dislike taking math all over again. Well, this is all the time I have.

Happy Halloween! (I know it's early, but I never know when I will post again)

ALOHA!

Hawaii vs USC @ Aloha Stadium! (Football)

This was my first football game I have ever went too. I would like to thank my older brother for the opportunity. So, the game was around 6:00 PM when my family and I arrived. I was from Hawaii and so naturally I cheered for Hawaii! My family settled on plastic chairs covered by shade from the blazing sun. From what I witnessed, the football players were very small in my view, but suprisingly the football team that I cheered for were giants at about 6 feet. The whole event was both tiring and exciting. The whole crowd's excitement uplifted my feelings and a lot more so on my brother. He was the loud one and I was inching away from him. Unfortunately, my team was losing badly. I will list the good experiences and the bad in my first ever football game.

What was good?

-My team did amazing! Even though my team was losing, some players have done spectacular moves or whatever you may call it.
-My first ever experience which I will always remember and it was with my family.
-The crowd was wild and added on to the experience.
-The whole stadium cheered and I had a great time.

What was bad?

-There were plenty of fights! Haha. One of the fights were so close and the police had to tazer the person. Probably the person was drunk and he resisted arrest! Very interesting.
-People were throwing paper all over people and I just had to think of what the cleaning crew had to clean up right after the game.
-My team was losing!
-My brother was loud and he was hitting my left leg super hard because of excitement.
-The food and beverages were expensive. One small water bottle for two dollars. Dang! Good thing I didn't spend a dime.
-The referee was irritating to most. Haha...especially the UH fans.

Overall, as much negativity I have experienced in these games...it was expected. Some people were drunk and my brother warned me beforehand. I will always remember the positives. It was a time to relax before school started and a time with my family. It was very new to me and I cannot wait for the years to come. I know this really good player joining University of Hawaii. I hope he brings in more competition for UH. I cannot wait.

I am new to football and the only memory I have of football was back when I was in 9th grade. It was refreshing and I apologize if I couldn't give more details about it as I left early because my whole family was tired and the team was losing. I have to say though, that the mini events were interesting and the BAND of UH was remarkable. They were all in sync and I love the formation. So, if you ever get the chance...spend time with your family to watch one of these games and support your favorite team!

Aloha!
