Hello! Is anyone there?

Hello.

Long time no post! I don't know what to post. I just wanted to post something... What have I been up to? Nothing much. Just school and work. I work at a bookstore and I have been working for 8 months now. One goal I had in high school was to get a job, buy sparkcash, and rule the server Bijou. Instead, I am saving for a study abroad trip to Japan (I am going to either Rikkyo or Nagoya university) and that goal will have to wait for now unfortunately...

My time is limited. I only have free time on the weekends. On the weekdays, I am busy from 5am to 9pm. Right now, I am learning Japanese. My reason is because I want to become an English teacher in Japan. I have met people at my university that have made a huge impact on me, and I am interested in becoming a teacher. Teachers have always been my role models and have had a positive influence on me. Unfortunately, the situation for teachers here in Hawaii and throughout most schools here in America is not so good.

When I was in high school, I really enjoyed learning about the world. Understanding the world was my responsibility as a "global citizen." With a career as an English teacher, I am able to meet people from all over the world and I am able to understand them with my time spent with them. With language, I am able to understand the misunderstood. I am able to connect and make bonds with people. Fiesta is related to language in this way. While playing Fiesta, I was able to meet a diverse group of people and understand people different to me.

When I was playing Fiesta and learning Spanish, I was able to connect with many more people because of my effort in learning Spanish. It opened many opportunities for me. I was able to connect with my Puerto Rican friend more (and receive help on my Spanish homework haha) who is still causing havoc on Fiesta through Facebook. We don't talk much as we use to, but she will always have a special place in my heart.

Reflecting on my past, I am able to connect the dots and figure out how I arrived to the present. I know where I want to go and it was thanks to the things that have happened in my past. Fiesta being one of those connections...

Well, this was a really random post... I have to go buy my groceries. Groceries here in Hawaii is not so cheap for a college student working for minimum wage...

Respectfully,

Cherrybomb the Nub
