Hiya!

My contest Cherrybomb's Contest is over now. There were 10 people who participated. I got 16 signatures in total and I love them all. The contest started on August 11, 2011 and ended on August 21, 2011. The results were posted on August 23, 2011. You can find the contest here: Cherrybomb's Contest (signature). I just wanted to share all the entries I received in that contest.

I love the color blue here.

I love the drawing here and also the text.

I like the blue flames and also the background. The color blue is very nice and the text used is what I love the most compared to the other entries. Overall, a well-made signature and met most of my expectations.

Not what I was expecting in my contest, but I like it. I probably would use this signature around Halloween time.

This one is very pretty. I like the background very much and how bright it is.

I like this one a little more than the purple version. I also like the blue thunder.

An animated signature! I like it and the ice. This makes Cherrybomb look like a goddess or something haha.

This one is a very interesting signature. I really like the design and the patterns here and there.

The text is clear. I love the colors. The moment I saw this signature, I loved it. It looks like a lot of work was done and I love how it's not restricted in a rectangle and how Cherrybomb's head sticks out of the border. Very good job!

This one is so creative and cute. I love how my pet and mount are used in the signature. I like the colors used and also the facial expressions. I like the feeling of the signature. It's not only an animated signature, but also a drawn signature. Overall, it looks great and is one of my favorite signatures.

This one is professionally well done. I really like the blue smoke around the text "Cherry Bomb" and I really like how Fatal places my blog's address into the signature which I didn't say was a requirement, but maybe I should have. I also like the text and design.

Very colorful and cheerful. Reminds me of Mario for some reason haha.

Overall, I believe the contest was a success! It doesn't compare to a GM signature contest, but I'm glad I was able to make one with some participation. I really didn't expect to get this many signatures. I might make an avatar contest too, but I'm not so sure on that. Anyway, I would like to share the winning signatures and the reasons why they won.

The reasons why I chose these signatures was based on what I believe who put a lot of effort into their signatures and if they met my expectations. Also, the presentation and overall feel of the signature. I also looked at the creativity and how clear the text was. The top two signatures were not limited to a rectangle signature and that was something I really liked. The most creative signature was created by StrawberryJelly. As for text, I really like Ienzo's text the most. The signature that met most of my expectations, clear text, most interesting, and overall beautiful signature was made by MissusDolly. It impressed me a lot when I first saw it. The most difficult place to decide was 3rd place. It was a battle between FatalLace and StrawberryJelly's signature. Anyway, good job to everyone! Thank you for the participation, time, and patience.

Something else I wanted to mention is how generous Ienzo was in giving her prize to the other winners and how StrawberryJelly gave her prize to her friends. You guys earned my respect. I hope everyone at least had fun doing the signatures. Now, I want to show off all my new signatures on the forums haha! If only I knew a signature randomizer for the forums. Anyone have a suggestion for one?

The contest had already ended like a week ago and the day after Kobal created a contest. So, the ending of my contest was a great transition into a new contest. For those interested, Kobal's MVP contest: MVP: Design the newcomer's first impression. Good luck to those who enter. I haven't checked it much lately as I'm busy in-game, but I saw MissusDolly's entry. I really like MissusDolly's entry and she is very talented. Good luck to her and to all who enter that contest! I am very interested in what others can make for that contest.

Lastly, I want to say thanks for reading and right now I have to wait for like two hours or more until maintenance is done. Six hours is a looooonggg time for maintenance. Hopefully, there is not a lot of lag right after maintenance because of moving servers. Maybe I might make another blog post hmm... Well, see you another time!
